Welcome - Issue 1 - May 2016
In this Inaugural Issue we introduce recent developments surrounding both Company and Technology, across four (4) key areas of market activity. Though Baleen is broadly used in filtration of wastewater it is gaining reputation for its capability in separation of traditionally lost resources from virtually any process water stream. This news brief provides an update on Baleen’s core activities.
Acting CEO and Founder, Yuri Obst, introduces Baleen at the ‘Global Cleantech Summit 2016’ on 23rd March in Beijing which showcased the Global Top 100 companies as profiled by ‘The Climate Group’ to help address the pollution problem in China.
In fine ore circuits, conventional processes commonly lose around 50% of clean ore typically accounting for some 2-4% of saleable ore lost to tailings. In such cases, Baleen allows its recovery at near 100% product yield to reduce operational cost base by as much as 5%, and the opportunity for dramatic water savings through process water recycling..
Baleen selected to present Thought Leadership on the Green Future for Wastewater Infrastructure at the upcoming G7 Summit in Ise-Shima, Japan 26-27 May 2016.
Baleen delivers revenue-making solutions in an increasingly competitive water market. In select cases, Baleen will source finance for worthy projects that involve operation and maintenance of resource recovery plants, which result in local employment opportunities.
